When the rental agreement is drawn up, a renter is specified. It is also permitted to specify additional drivers. These must be listed on the contact or the insurance company will not pay out in the event of a claim. In addition, the contractual deductible then lapses and the renter is liable for the entire damage amount.
The (copy of the) driver's license of the additional drivers must be shown when picking up the rental car. The renter, as the main driver, is responsible for the actions of the additional drivers in the car.
The cost is €3.50 incl. VAT per day.
